The golf swing, lower back, and injury are common phrases in the world golf. It is understood the golf swing places large amounts of stress on the lower back. This is simply a result of the mechanics of the golf swing itself. The execution of the golf swing places the lower back under immense shear forces each and every golf swing, and the muscles of the lower back must withstand these shear forces. Muscles of the body when under stress from physical activity eventually become fatigued. Once the lower back muscles are fatigued, supporting the stressors of the golf swing and executing the mechanics of the golf swing are compromised. Resulting in some very common situations for the golfer.
Again, we are all aware the lower back is one of the most oft injured areas of the body in the game of golf. Statistics indicate approximately 50% of all golfers will incur a lower back injury during their playing careers. This statistic tell us a great deal about the importance of keeping the lower back healthy in the game of golf. Outside of the lower back becoming injured from the golf swing.
The situation of performance on the golf course comes into play. Often times prior to injury occurring, a drop in performance will occur. This is a result of the fatigue within the lower back not allowing the mechanics of the golf swing to be executed correctly.
On the PGA Tour keeping the lower back strong and injury free is a daily task. It is understandable how much time is spent on lower back injury prevention when the biomechanics of the golf swing are understood. The biomechanics of the golf swing place the lower back under large amounts of shear force/stress every time you swing a golf club.
Over time, this can easily cause injury if you do not take the correct steps. This leads me to e-mail I received a little while back from BioForce subscriber Bryan
He wrote in with a question about his lower back and here is what he had to say;
"Sean,
I am 54 years of age and a very keen golfer.
Lately I have been experiencing back pain, maybe because of to much golfing?
I need your kind experience to advise me on this subject so that I can enjoy golf
without any harm to my back."
Thank You,
Bryan
First and foremost the reasons for lower back pain is numerous and is best identified by a qualified physician.
My first suggestion is to get the lower back checked out by a back specialists. This will determine what exactly is going on with the lower back and what is the best treatment.
Now Bryan brings up a very good point in his e-mail. He discusses the possibility that his lower back discomfort is caused by playing too much golf. (you can never play enough golf!, wellÖmaybe)
This absolutely could be the reason why his lower back is "tight" and "sore".
Again, we know the lower back is placed under high amounts of stress every single swing of the golf club. Over time the muscles of the lower back can become fatigued from the golf swing. This will eventually lead to the muscles of the lower back "giving up" and becoming fatigued.
Once the muscles of the lower back are fatigued it is a very short step to injury. What is the process of eliminating this type of scenario playing out?
It simply requires the development of muscular endurance in the lower back to withstand the stressors of the golf swing. Bottom line the golf swing is a repetitive movement, requiring the body to perform the swing over and over again. In order for the muscles (lower back muscles included) involved in the golf swing to perform the repeatable movements of the golf swing over and over again in an efficient manner.
Muscular endurance is the ability of the neuromuscular system of the body to perform a repetitive biomechanical movement (i.e. golf swing) without becoming fatigued. How do you develop muscular endurance specific to the golf swing? By simply, implementing golf fitness exercises into a structured program.
In addition to the development of increased muscular endurance the efficiency of the golf swing mechanics may require adjustment. Efficiency within the mechanics of the golf swing can directly affect the amount of stress placed upon the lower back.
Additional research has indicated the shear forces placed upon the lower back of a professional golfer is significantly less than the amateur golfer. The reason for the difference is the mechanics of the golf swing performed by the professional is much more efficient, placing less stress on the lower back.
Stated previously, numerous reasons exist for the lower back to become injured. The mechanics of the golf swing and endurance with muscles of the lower back are only two of many possibilities. If the lower back is weak the shear forces placed upon it by the golf swing will eventually lead to fatigue. The development of higher levels of muscular endurance can counter act this situation. The utilization of golf fitness exercises is best in relation to the golf swing for this situation.
Additionally, the efficiency in which the mechanics of the golf swing are executed affects the lower back. A less efficient golf swing places higher levels of shear force upon the musculature of the lower back causing fatigue and possible injury. A comprehensive golf fitness program to develop higher levels of muscular endurance and the creation of a efficient golf swing golf through instruction may assist keeping your lower back injury free.

Hotels: How to Get Free Gifts
Planning to visit Las Vegas or any other vacational resort where casinos are a major portion of their business? I have just the thing for you. Here, I will show you how to pass off as a High Roller and collect many complimentary items and gifts.
What is the Secret?
The Secret is that you have to make them believe you are rich and love gambling. In short you have to impersonate a High Roller.
Why?
Hotels love high rollers because these players leave behind thousands of dollars each visit. And the real cool part about this is that if you act the role, casinos will lavish you with the same gifts and complimentary items that a real High Roller would receive.
How ?
It is not that difficult to fool the hotel and resorts with some finesse and true self-confidence. It can be done.
1) The Way you Dress:
Elegant and smart is the way to go. Opt out of the baseball cap, t-shirt and jeans. Try and wear a suit or at least a regular buttoned shirt with an elegant dark jacket. It was Shakespeare who said that the clothes maketh a man, and so too, when going to a hotel resort. They judge you according to how you dress, so dress according to the role.
2) A Large Pad of Notes:
Yes. Just like in the movies. Carry a large bundle of notes with you and keep them in plain sight. You do not have to really take with you that much. Instead, take a few notes and place them at the top and at the bottom of real note-size paper cuttings. Just remember to never expose this while you are in the casino. Use other notes youíre your wallet instead. But do it nonchalantly so that none of the casino personnel will notice.
3) Always Flash Your Notes Around: No matter where you go, whether its to the hotel restaurant for lunch or for to the bar. They will be watching. From time to time, use that money to play at a range of table games or video game and bet some of that money. Remember you must use some of your money to play but just do not use all of it.
4) Play Complicated Games:
This is one of the more problematic things to do and requires some training at home. Learn on your own how to lay and how to bet on the high rolling games such as roulette, baccarat and craps. You could also play poker or Texas holdem in one of the larger ante tables, but in any case stick to your plan and you will soon reap the flowers.
Conclusion:
Above, I have outlined some of the more practical methods by which one can save money by receiving gifts from the casino. These gifts range from casino comps (free money to play), room deals that can get nearly free and many others such as free drinks, clothes, coupon to stores in Las Vegas and many more. Note that what you are doing here is completely legal provided you don't take up a false name or falsify your passport card.

Charlie Brown Valentine And Other Favorites
I am sure that you all remember the many movies that were based on Charles M. Schulzs Peanuts comic strip. They started making them in the sixties and still make them to this day. The Peanut gang was so incredibly popular that it has attracted audiences across multiple generations. One of the newest stories to be adapted to a movie is A Charlie Brown Valentine. Below are some of our favorite holiday Charlie Brown movies.
1. A Charlie Brown Christmas this film is about discovering the true meaning of Christmas, through the eyes of Charlie Brown. As the story opens, Charlie Brown is depressed and frustrated because he sees all of his friends and family getting so caught up with the materialistic aspects of Christmas. He watches Lucy and Snoopy become obsessed with their presents and the holiday decorations, Schroeder only cares about the Christmas pageant and the rest of his friends are only concerned with writing their letters to Santa and what they will get as gifts.
Charlie Brown is disgruntled and ashamed of the fact that Christmas has become so commercial so he sets out on a journey to show everyone what it is truly about. He is given the task of picking out the perfect tree for the Christmas pageant which gives him a brilliant idea as to how he will get his message across to those he loves. He buys the tiniest and ugliest looking tree that he can find and brings it to the pageant. At first, everyone is stunned, but then, after a speech from his best friend Linus, he is able to teach everyone what Christmas is really about.
2. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving this special opens with Charlie Brown getting ready to go to Thanksgiving dinner with his grandmother. Just before he leaves, Peppermint Patty calls and pretty much invites herself over to his house for Thanksgiving dinner. Charlie Brown can never get a word in with Peppermint Patty and before he knows it, she has invited a bunch of her other friends over too.
At first, he is upset, but with some coaxing from Linus he is convinced to have two dinners; one with his grandmother and the other one at his house with friends. The film shows how it all unfolds and how Charlie Brown pulls through for all of his friends and family to make sure they have the best Thanksgiving ever.
3. A Charlie Brown Valentine this special is much newer than some of the others and was aired in 2004. This film is all about the things that Charlie Brown has to go through when he wants to get the courage to ask the little red haired girl to the school dance for Valentines Day. Throughout the special, he realizes that Peppermint Patty likes him and wants to ask him to the dance. This is a true glimpse into what a Charlie Brown valentine is all about and what it means to him.
The Charlie Brown specials have been a mainstay in homes across America for decades and if this pattern is any indication, then it will only continue to grow in popularity as the years pass.

The Ghost Of Fear
To understand the ghost of fear, let me tell you a short parable:
Once upon a time, Jake and Fear were friends. Fear was Jake's constant companion, and Fear helped him a lot. Fear saved him from lots of troubles and dangers, and helped him choose right paths and ways in his life.
Whenever Jake would carelessly go with the wrong company of "friends" or make a very careless decision, Fear would butt in and remind him of his father's counsels and admonitions. When walking right in danger's path, Fear would whisper a word of warning to dissuade him from proceeding.
Fear would also tell him the proper behavior when Jake was in front of the elderly and other people in authority. Fear would give him the ability to do and say only the respectful and kind words to people. Fear would also tell him to be polite and humble when there was a conflict with people he was related with. In short, Fear has been helping him to keep out of troubles and dangers. Fear was really a friend. Jake liked Fear's company.
Then one day, Jake met Doubt. Doubt seemed very concerned and sincere about Jake. Doubt said his closeness to Fear was remarkable ó but alarming. Doubt threw lies about Fear, distorting the truth that Jake knew about Fear. Worse, Doubt said Fear was actually taking him to a perilous direction, with Jake being unaware.
Jake asked Fear about the things Doubt told him. They had some discussions that somehow went a bit sour. They parted ways with some misunderstandings.
Then one day, Jake heard that Fear had suddenly died.
Doubt lost no time in scaring Jake about Fear. Doubt said that Fear's premature death and his unsettled "dispute" with Jake might cause Fear to come back from the dead. Thus, the ghost of fear started to haunt Jake. He would remember the times when Fear accompanied him and warned him of bad things. But this time, he feared the voice of Fear.
The more Jake listened to Doubt, the worse he became afraid of Fear. Fear seemed to be no longer a friend, but a spooky entity that sought his destruction.
End of the parable.
The best way to "exorcize" or get rid of these "ghosts" of fear is to make fear somehow a friend again. You can use your fear to help you if you face the truth about it. Your negative imagination creates your ghosts. A crazy imagination is good if you use it to create a "friendly" ghost. This is what I recommend.
The book of Proverbs states: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

The Drugs Don't Work
Can Hypnotherapy heal the problems that traditional treatments cannot resolve? Is it our attitudes towards bad habits and illness, that encourages us treat the symptoms and not the causes?
"Hypnosis" may conjure up images of swinging pendulums and stage trickery, but it's a technique that's recently undergone something of a change in attitudes towards its use as a healing tool. It is also enjoying a renewed interest from the scientific and medical community as more and more academic studies show significant positive results. It's also apparent that some people are more able to progress into a hypnotic state than others, some people respond and some don't.
There's now some pretty conclusive evidence that Hypnosis is effective in pain management and very successful in the treatment of stress, anxiety, fears and phobias. It's widely used in dealing with habitual problems, especially smoking and other forms of addiction. It's also used to control certain psychosomatic problems like seizures and irritable bowel syndrome.
So, what's hypnotherapy all about? Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, which is a little bit like day-dreaming. Have you ever driven somewhere and during the journey your mind has been focused on something completely different to the job of driving, and when you have arrived at your destination, you realise that you remember no details of the drive? You were in a hypnotic trance! You were miles away consciously, but your sub-conscious mind was driving the car and doing it quite adequately without the conscious mind interfering, then suddenly you're back to reality.
Full Conscious Awareness is the state in which we spend most of our waking hours. In this state, our mind is attentive and uses logic to reason, evaluate, judge, and make decisions. Unfortunately, when attempting to make life changes, the conscious mind often gets in the way of our desires, by creating doubts and conflict in our thinking.
Hypnosis is special because it opens up a channel of communication between the conscious and the sub-conscious mind. It is not sleep, but a relaxed state, where the critical faculty is bypassed, where we focus and close down the conscious mind, where we store all of our beliefs and values. We can then allow ourselves to absorb new values, beliefs and desires, thus enabling changes that we want to happen, to occur.
At a subconscious level we don't think in the usual way. Our minds react and we can't distinguish between reality and unreality, we absorb all the information received through the senses as true, as real.
In the Hypnotic State, you are "experiencing" without questioning, without critical judgment or analysis, you are able to suspend your dis-belief, a little like when you are watching a movie, and the hypnotherapist can make suggestions that are very likely to feel real and to permanently alter your values and beliefs - precisely because your conscious mind is not getting in the way. You are not "judging" or being "critical" of the suggestions.
So why is it that some people respond and some don't? Generally, if two or more emotions are in conflict, the dominant one wins out over the weaker. Imagination wins out over will power, emotions win out over logic, the subconscious mind wins out over the conscious, every time, Our emotions rule. If for some reason, you will yourself not to allow suggestions to be accepted, they won't be. The habitual smoker who asks for help to quit smoking but is not really committed to that goal, cannot be forced to do so against their will.
By definition, Habits, are those repetitive behaviors that you do "without thinking." With the critical faculty bypassed and by using the power of imagination, specific thoughts and suggestions can be placed in the subconscious where they can propel someone toward a desired goal or change behavior in a positive, permanent way.
I am not for a moment suggesting that drug treatments should be abandoned in every case. There is clearly a time and a place for drug-based therapies, but all too often people assume that there is a pill for everything that is wrong and that simply is not the case.
In many cases drugs are not a cure, we rely too much on the treatment of symptoms and not enough on the causes of our problems. A change in attitude towards the way we think about illness and well-being, may enable us to treat the causes and eliminate the problems permanently.

Bow To The Army Classics
Sporting a manly ring can boost any man's confidence. Army rings, military rings, and navy rings are among men's top choices. There is nothing like the power and authority (even imaginary) associated with what these rings represent that is appealing to most men. However, all rings are not created equal. The market is flooded with rings that are of low quality. So before investing your cash in these flimsy imitations, here are a few things to look and ask for in buying an authentic, classic ring.
Quality products are made from quality materials. Before being blinded by a ring's gold sheen ask if that ring is made from solid gold. Be wary because some manufacturers use cheaper metals such as brass. The finished rings are then given a thin gold plating. Cheaper price for the same look right? Be careful though because platings are easily scratched and prone to wearing off. Over time, your golden ring will have a mottled appearance of patches of gold and brass. Since you are buying army rings, military rings, and navy rings for their powerful appeal, buy one whose appeal would last. Classic rings are made of solid gold. Meaning, the price you pay for them is worth it since they will last long. Their value as an investment would also fetch higher rates as time passes.
Classic army rings, military rings, and navy rings are characterized by having solid backs. They are not hollow like the cheaper rings. The classic rings' solid backs also gives them substantial weight to resist pressure. They are made for longer wear because the risk for crushing them when bumped, or any deformity is minimal to almost none. They are also less likely to irritate your skin than rings that were hollowed out. Classic rings are also more comfortable because of their solid back structure. Better or even perfect fit is guaranteed because classic rings are largely custom made.
Cheaper rings are mass produced unlike classic rings. As a result they have pits, uneven surfaces, and ugly marks. On the other hand, classic rings are hand crafted. This means that there is more attention given to details. Finishing is done by a master polisher. The rings, especially the army rings, military rings, and navy rings are carefully polished to give them depth and bring out their classic beauty.
In the final analysis, cheaper army rings, military rings, and navy rings are only good if you don't intend to keep and wear them for long. However, if investment, quality, and long-term use are what you had in mind, forego buying cheap rings. It would be better for your finances and worth your investment to buy classic rings. After all, when it comes down to it, classic rings have the best value and quality worth their price.

Scams: How to identify and avoid - List of the most known ,including Ebay Scams
Telephone lottery scams: These include the Canadian lottery scam and the El Gordo Spanish lottery scam, which deceptively uses the name of a genuine lottery. People respond to an unsolicited mailing or telephone call telling them they are being entered into a prize draw. They then receive a telephone call congratulating them on winning a big prize in a national lottery - but before they can claim their winnings, they must send money to pay for taxes and processing fees. The prize doesn't exist.
Prize draw, sweepstakes and foreign lottery mailings: many typical scams take the form of prize draws, lotteries or government payouts. Most appear to be notification of a prize in an overseas draw or lottery in return for administration or registration fees.
Premium rate telephone number scams: Notification by post of a win in a sweepstake or a holiday offer includes instructions to ring a premium rate 090 number to claim your prize.
Investment related scams: An unsolicited telephone call offering the opportunity to invest in shares, fine wine, gemstones or other soon-to-be rare commodities. These investments often carry very high risk and may be worth a lot less than you pay. The shares are not quoted on any stock exchange and you will not be able to sell them easily afterwards. 'Solid' valuable investments, such as gem stones, are often said to be stored in secretive Swiss bank vaults, so you can never see your investment.
Nigerian advance fee frauds: THE MOST KNOWN SCAM. An offer via letter, e-mail or fax to share a huge sum of money in return for using the recipient's bank account to permit the transfer of the money out of the country. The perpetrators will either use the information given to empty their victim's bank account; or convince him or her that money is needed up front for bribing officials. Pyramid schemes: offer a return on a financial investment based upon the number of new recruits to the scheme. Investors are misled about the likely returns as there are not enough people to support the scheme indefinitely - only the people who set up the scheme are able to make any money.
Matrix schemes: are promoted via web sites offering expensive hi-tech gadgets as free gifts in return for spending £20 or similar on a low-value product such as a mobile telephone signal booster. Consumers who buy the product join a waiting list to receive their free gift. The person at the top of the list gets their free gift only after a prescribed number ñ sometimes as high as 100 ñ of new members join up. In reality, the majority of those on the list will never receive the expensive item they expect.
Credit scams: another advance fee fraud, originating in Canada. Advertisements have appeared in local newspapers offering fast loans regardless of credit history. Consumers who respond are told their loans have been agreed but before the money can be released they must pay a fee to cover insurance. Once the advance fee is paid, the consumer never hears from the company again and the loan never appears.
Property investment schemes: would-be investors attend a free presentation and are persuaded to hand over thousands of pounds to sign up to a course promising to teach them how to make money dealing in property. Schemes may involve the opportunity to buy properties which have yet to be built at a discount. A variation is a buy-to-let scheme where companies offer to source, renovate and manage properties, claiming good returns from rental income. In practice, the properties are near-derelict and the tenants non-existent.
Work-at-home and business opportunity scams: often work by advertising paid work from home but which require money up-front to pay for materials; or by requiring investment in a business with little or no chance of success.

The perpetrators will either use the information given to empty their victim's bank account; or convince him or her that money is needed up front for bribing officials. Pyramid schemes: offer a return on a financial investment based upon the number of new recruits to the scheme.
